Who is your favourite dressage rider
1 of all times?
“Each rider has their own specialty. This
could be teaching a horse passage, the
posture of a particular rider or the excellent
management around the competitions.
I have a broad horizon and look at many
different riders.”
2What is the biggest eye-opener your
trainer has taught you?
“I am training with Andreas Helgstrand,
I love the system we have and the way we
work our horses. Our main goal is to keep
them motivated, happy and to have fun.
Not having a boring routine but to keep the
horses entertained.”
3How would you describe the character
of your current competition horse?
“Painted Black is my best friend and partner
in crime. He would give me his heart. He
is very competitive which is a great point
during shows. He is always giving his best
when he works and never gives up. He has
been my teacher throughout the past years.
Teaching me what to do and what not to
do. The only moment he gets dangerous is
when you get around his food, no-one can
touch that. It is easy to bribe him with sugar
and carrots.”
4If you could have a superpower, what
would it be?
“If I could have a superpower it would be
teleportation. This would allow me to be in
many places during the day, no need to take
cars, planes and lose time.”
5What was your most favourite holiday
so far and what did you do?
“My family and I had lots of precious
holidays. I do not have one in particular that
I like the most. The most important is to
have my relatives close to me and to spend
quality time.”
