Part II - Casebook Current Examination Format in AP The aims of the casebook are to achieve: - • Content as set out in the Trainees’ handbook • A succinct presentation of no more than 10 pages with the discussion sion at least twice as long as the remainder of the presentation with • A bibliography in the order of 15 to 30 references and including recent peer-reviewed reviewed literature • Should include a comprehensive and critical appraisal of the cited literature and • High quality photomicrographs/illustrations The volume should be bound (spirax( binding OK) and submitted in duplicate 10.3.06
Part II - Casebook Current Examination Format in AP Casebooks are assessed simply as: ☺Satisfactory Unsatisfactory - revise and resubmit the same year Resubmission by 31st October for consideration and recommendation to BoC November meeting; otherwise by 31st March the following year Exam is incomplete until a pass grade is obtained PROPOSED CHANGE - It is proposed that Candidates not meeting the 31st March deadline will be permitted to sit the Part 2 examination ion in the same year, but we will not guarantee your results will be ready by the end of the August exam cycle New cases will be necessary if not passed in the same year 10.3.06
