“If it is essential to keep the slide marking to one city why not rotate the city responsible annually?” • The Chief and Associate Chief Examiners are answerable to the Board of Censors and must be responsible for ensuring the maintenance of standards, impartiality and continuity from year to year • To annually rotate from city to city without the involvement of the Chief Examiners would result in variation of standards and possible loss of anonymity • cf. UK system where standards have in the past been vastly different from centre to centre. 10.3.06
