The photographer Howard Schatz had a very unusual idea for a book.<br />

He invited actors into his studio, and asked them to 'be' certain<br />

characters in certain situations, and he then photographed them.<br />

For example, he told the actor Christopher Lloyd to be 'a violin<br />

teacher who is listening to his pupil massacre a Mozart piece:<br />
