John Wayne Airport received high marks in its bi-annual passenger survey,
with nearly 95% of participants agreeing that “JWA provides excellent travel
services and is a great asset to Orange County.” We are pleased to be
Orange County’s travel hub of choice by providing our passengers with a
safe, enjoyable, and convenient travel experience.
• We introduced a new state-of-the-art system that automates passenger processing
for airlines and passengers, making check-in and boarding quicker and easier.
We debuted more than 20 new concessions, with new eateries ranging from “grab
and go” to fast casual and fine dining, along with a variety of convenient news and gift
shops, pre- and post-security.
In the fall of 2011, JWA entered the world of social media with a Facebook page
and Twitter stream allowing us to communicate even better with visitors and the
traveling public.
