1. Distribution and Damage
• Asia, Europe and Oceania; north and mid-lower
valley of Yangtse River in China.
• Polyphagous pest; favor fruit trees of rosaceae;
• At the beginning of the mites’ damage, leaves lose
green color. Then, they gradually become yellow
and dry, which causes defoliation and fruitdropping.
