1. Distribution and Damage<br />

• Asia, Europe and Oceania; north and mid-lower<br />

valley of Yangtse River in China.<br />

• Polyphagous pest; favor fruit trees of rosaceae;<br />

• At the beginning of the <strong>mites</strong>’ damage, leaves lose<br />

green color. Then, they gradually become yellow<br />

and dry, which causes defoliation and fruitdropping.
