2. Life Cycle and Behavior<br />
• 3-13 generations a year; generation number increasing<br />
from northern to southern China respectively;<br />
• Overwinter as copulated female adults in all orchard<br />
refuges. Refuges mainly include: gaps of tree trunks,<br />
space under barks and soil in orchards.<br />
• A few or a couple of female <strong>mites</strong> overwinter as groups.
