“The delightful mix of tones and textures
is almost a sufficient reward in itself, but
Horvitz is also a damn fine musician with
an ear for a groove. This disc is way more
happenin’ than most of the techno on the
racks right now.”
“Incredibly well crafted pieces [and]
fantastic vehicles for improvisational
exploration… I give my highest
recommendation.”
Tim Ries, Rolling Stones Saxophonist
“Sigesmund, with a sound as warm as
the purr of a Rolls Royce, is a thoughtful
player… The beauty of Sigesmund’s tone
and the agility of his technique led to a
subtlety in his improvising, which went
beyond good chops and good schooling
to genuine communication.”
