Option 4: Friendship Card
Say: Today we’re learning No matter where you are…trust God!
That’s because God is everywhere we go! Our special
Bible verse says: “For the Lord your God is with you
wherever you go.” We’ve been learning about kids in
the country of Mali, who need mosquito nets
to keep them safe at night. Today you’ll make
a Friendship Card for a child who will receive
a mosquito net. You can remind the child of
God’s love. How amazing that God can be here in
[name of your community] and with kids in Mali!
No matter where you are…trust God!
1. Let children use stickers, Buddy Stampers, and markers to make colorful
Friendship Cards for the kids in Mali. If you took pictures of kids earlier in the
week, let children glue their photographs on the cards, too.
2. As children work, remind them of the big, important job they’re doing by
sending mosquito nets to Mali.
3. Have Crew Leaders gather the cards. Children will get to place them under
the Display Mosquito Net during today’s Fly Away Finale.

asked questions about it…and
gave to it! Their cards were precious
and their donations generous. And
while preschoolers’ cards may not be
perfect, they’ll remember that they
got to share God’s love with someone
far away.
