SECTION C: PROJECT EVALUATION<br />
The information provided in this section will be used to evaluate the project and should<br />
demonstrate how effectively the project meets the goals of the River Parkways <strong>program</strong>.<br />
Projects will be evaluated using the following criteria to determine an initial ranking, with a<br />
score of 120 points possible. Points will be attributed to each section and not to<br />
individual questions.<br />

Additional Funding Considerations<br />
• Projects including hardscape such as restrooms, parking lots and in-stream<br />
engineered structures may be subject to additional technical review to determine<br />
engineering is compatible with environmental issues and geomorphic constraints<br />
and consideration.<br />
• The State may consider other factors in the final <strong>grant</strong> awards such as but not<br />
limited to economic benefits, statewide significance, and the geographic<br />
distribution of bond funds. Partial funding may be considered to fully maximize<br />
<strong>grant</strong> awards.<br />
SECTION C - Key Points<br />
• Answer all questions, unless otherwise noted, in the order listed and clearly label<br />
each response.<br />
• Limit the project evaluation questions to fifteen numbered pages.<br />
• In C-1 (Project Requirements/Statutory Conditions) each applicant will answer<br />
different questions depending upon the <strong>program</strong> selected.<br />
