The mixed doubles format of playing the entire tournament over a Friday , Saturday and finals on
Sunday was great. We had 25 teams participating which is the most the club has ever had entering
this tournament and the results were so close with the pairing of teams in the appropriate divisions.
Many of our residents came out to watch on Saturday and Sunday and thoroughly enjoyed the
competition and the comaraderie.
This event cannot happen without the hard work and dedication of Broken Sound staff and the
support from the entire tennis committee.
The winners and finalists for each category are as follows;
Championship Division
Larry & Ginny Kobren defeated Howard Cantor and Sara Wiener in a third set tiebreaker
