Signage—business identification signs in rural zones
(1) Must meet the general requirements for signage.
(2) 1 sign per premises (except where otherwise prescribed).
(3) Maximum area—0.75m 2 (except where otherwise prescribed).
(4) Must not advertise specific products or brands, other than the name of
the vineyard that is used on the vineyard’s wine bottle label.
(5) Must not be illuminated.
(6) Must be non-flashing.
(7) Pole or pylon signs
(a) Maximum area—3m 2 .
(b) Maximum height—2m.
(8) Gateway signs
(a) Must be an integral part of the visitor driveway entrance.
(b) Maximum 2 signs per gateway.
(c) Maximum area—2m 2 .
(d) Maximum—1 sign per wine barrel (2 wine barrels only), placed
on either side of the visitor driveway entrance within the recessed
gateway and positioned so as not to obstruct vehicular access or
pedestrian sight lines.

(c) Flush wall signs must not exceed an area greater than 25% of the
wall area.
