Thursday nights in July will rock as
Epsom Live! returns. Racing gets
underway in the early evening followed
by an open air concert. You can win a pair
of tickets to watch the performance of
your choice. Simply Red will kick start the
Epsom Live! season by performing on
July 1. James Morrison takes to the stage
on July 8 and The Feeling will be there on
July 15. BRIT award winners, JLS, will
perform live on July 23, and Madness will
round off with a grand finale on July 29.
Tickets cost £33, but one lucky Borough

Sunday, July 18. FREE 14th Annual Music
in Nork Park event. Afternoon of music and
song in Nork Park, Banstead with variety of
bands and vocalists. A Bucks Fizz and beer
tent will supplement tea and cakes run by
our local 1st Nork Guides. Hog roast and
barbeque. Pottery painting, face painting,
circus skills and the “dressing up box” from
Carshalton Pantomime Company for
children. Opening the event will be the Ed
Hudson Heavy Rock Trio, with
contributions from Surrey Yeomanry Band,
Beacon School Choir, Colin Roy and our
local Sarah Pullen. Jazz and Big Band
complete the line up. Any profit on the day
will go towards the funding for next year.
