Installation<br />

�� The electric <strong>gear</strong> <strong>pump</strong> <strong>EZP</strong> is supplied without accessories but completely wired, ready for use.<br />

�� The electric <strong>gear</strong> <strong>pump</strong> <strong>EZP</strong> should be used indoors in a dry environment.<br />

�� The electric <strong>gear</strong> <strong>pump</strong> <strong>EZP</strong> can be installed on a horizontal base and on the wall with the <strong>pump</strong> upwards or<br />

downwards.<br />

�� The electric <strong>gear</strong> <strong>pump</strong> <strong>EZP</strong> is self-suctioning and able to prime even when the suction hose is empty.<br />

�� The suction height must not exceed 2,5m.<br />

�� Connect suction hose to <strong>pump</strong> inlet (1).<br />

�� Connect pressure switch (2) to T-piece (3) (depending on <strong>pump</strong> type).<br />

�� Connect discharge hose (4) to <strong>pump</strong> outlet.<br />

�� It is recommended to install a ball valve between the <strong>pump</strong> outlet and the discharge hose.<br />

Mains supply security standard 10 A.<br />

Please mind these standard indications, otherwise no warranty applies in case of engine failure!<br />

The <strong>pump</strong>s are delivered c/w cable ready for connection to mains supply. After inserting securely the plug into the<br />

socket, the motor can be switched on by pressing the interruptor. The red luminous signal indicates that the <strong>pump</strong> is<br />

ready for use.<br />

Motor <strong>oil</strong> 15 W 40 (VG 150) + 8°C<br />

Motor <strong>oil</strong> 10 W 40 (VG 100 + 8°C<br />

Motor <strong>oil</strong> 5 W 40 (VG 82, fully synthetic) - 11°C<br />

Motor <strong>oil</strong> 0 W 40 (VG 67, fully synthetic) - 13°C<br />

Hydraulic <strong>oil</strong> 46 (VG 46) - 8°C<br />

Pressure switch stops operating the <strong>pump</strong> at counter pressure of 9 bar. This figure is reached when delivery pistol is<br />

closed. If pressure drops down to 2 bar, <strong>pump</strong> starts operating again.<br />

Supervise dispensing procedure and switch off <strong>pump</strong> if not used for a longer period (by all means after closing time).<br />

Do not leave delivery pistol behind on floor after use.<br />

Protect hose against breaking, cutting and strong impact of heat.<br />

Always pull out mains plug prior to repairing or disassembling and relieve hoses from pressure.<br />

Oil pollution can be avoided – contribute!<br />

Caution<br />

Please read carefully through the operations manual in order to avoid damage to persons or property!<br />

Repair or disassemble jobs which might become necessary to be performed on the electric installation may be executed<br />

only by authorized electric specialist or by a company representative!<br />
