During this program, students will be divided<br />
into two jazz ensembles: students who will be<br />
entering grades 7-9 and students entering<br />
grades 10-12. Both bands meet every<br />
Tuesday and Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m.<br />
This program gives area school musicians an<br />
opportunity to continue developing their<br />
musicianship throughout the summer.<br />

Students ages 13 through adult will play in<br />
small ensembles based on ability and<br />
experience. This camp also features lunchtime<br />
faculty concerts and master classes.<br />

Jazz education, performance, ensembles and<br />
combos, improvisation, theory, harmony,<br />

This workshop gives attendees the<br />
opportunity to work with world-renowned<br />
bassist Francois Rabbath. Faculty evening<br />
recitals and student solo recitals are also<br />
a part of the curriculum. Bassists of any<br />
ages and experience levels are encouraged<br />

This weekend immersion in jazz improvisation<br />
and composition includes individual and group<br />
instruction and will cover technique, harmony,<br />
accompaniment, rhythm, composition and the<br />
art of duo playing.<br />
