HelpAge is meeting its commitments to address the 10+1 issues of the elderly, most importantly
overlooked till recently were the issues of isolation and neglect. Most issues of elderly emanate
from here and a sense of belongingness is what keeps people going.
HelpAge Pilgrimage tours have been a resounding success in meeting these needs of our “not so
lucky” elderly. Below are glimpses of their pilgrimage to Bijnor where we have a mesmerising
Ashram (HelpAge India -Vishokhanand Ashram, Daragunj, Gunj, Bijnor) sharing boundaries
with the Ganges and then on to Haridwar and Rishikesh.
