Where You Live” and “The Rain In Spain.”<br />

With book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner and<br />

music by Frederick Loewe, and adapted from<br />

George Bernard Shaw’s Pygmalion, My Fair<br />

Lady is considered to be a true classic of musical<br />

theater. It won seven Tony Awards and was<br />

the launching pad for Julie Andrews’ career.<br />

Audrey Hepburn played Eliza in the 1964<br />

movie opposite the original Henry Higgins,<br />

Rex Harrison, who won an Oscar for his role.<br />

As with other CATS productions at the<br />

PAC, the show features a massive three-area<br />

set designed by Joanne McMaster, utilizing<br />

the Performing Arts Center’s revolving stage.<br />

Under Rachels’ direction, using the features of<br />

the revolving stage, this production of My Fair<br />

Lady takes on a completely new look.<br />

Evening show dates at 7:30pm are: July<br />

1, 2, 5, 6, 8 and 9. Matinee performances<br />

at 1:30pm are: July 3 and July 10. Reserved<br />

tickets range in price according to dates and<br />

location: Adults $16 to $27; Seniors $15 to<br />

$25 and under 18: $9 to $18. Tickets can be<br />

Rhythm of Riverside<br />

Summer Concert Series<br />

The City of Riverside Parks, Recreation and<br />

Community Services Department, the<br />

Riverside Downtown Partnership, and the<br />

San Manuel Band of Mission Indians present<br />

a series of free family-oriented band concerts<br />

at Fairmount Park located at 2601 Fairmount<br />

Boulevard in Riverside. Concerts are themed in<br />

various genres. Come early and taste the flavor<br />

of Riverside from local food vendors. Bring a<br />

blanket or beach chair to enjoy an evening at<br />

Fairmount Park, 6–9pm. Children’s activities will<br />

be available.<br />
