Installing <strong>Spotlight</strong> on Messaging

• Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1
or later
• Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Express Edition
Note: The SQL versions can be either 32 bit or 64
bit.
Note: If you installing the database on a remote
computer, ensure the remote connections are
enabled on the SQL server, and you have sufficient
permissions to create/modify the database.
The <strong>Spotlight</strong> on Messaging diagnostic console does not support the Lync
environment.
You must use the latest version of Adobe Reader to view the documentation.
Adobe Reader is a free download available at: http://get.adobe.com/reader
or in the Documentation tab of the Autorun dialog box.
You should consider the following recommendations before installing the
Management Console, depending on the number of Exchange or OCS servers
you have:
