Hybrid Descriptions
P7892
» Very Early Maturity » Maturity Class 8 » Primary End Use: Forage and Biogas
P7892 is a very early maturity hybrid first launched in 2012. It has now proven itself to be a leading hybrid in
the PACTS line-up with good early vigour and no other major agronomic weaknesses. This large stature hybrid
has early starch formation and rapid stover dry down with the capability to take forage and energy yields and
to the next level for many growers. Results show P7892 is an ideal hybrid for forage and biogas production.
Hybrid Characteristics
• Large stature hybrid
• Very good early vigour
• Very early starch formation
• Fast stover dry down
Grown In The Open
• Can be grown on all but the most marginal sites in
the UK and Ireland
Grown Using The Samco System
• P7892 is suitable for growing under film in very
marginal locations e.g. Northern Ireland and West
Wales.
