2012 Dance Recital
Dear Parents/Guardians of SM Recreation Department Dance Students:
It’s that time of year again when we prepare for the annual Recreation Department’s Dance Recital.
There are a few items we’d like to address with you so that we may make the event enjoyable for
everyone. Please note the Ticket Procedure as it has changed since last year.
PERFORMANCE
The performance will be held Saturday, March 31, at 2 pm. Doors to the PAC will open no earlier than
1:30 pm, at which time audience members may be seated.
TICKETING PROCEDURE
To cut down on long ticket lines, the PAC will be handling ticket sales this year. Tickets are $6 each
and will be reserved seating. All ticket sales are final. No refunds or exchanges will be made. Tickets
may be purchased with cash, check, MasterCard or VISA. Checks should be made payable to
SMPAC.
Tickets will go on sale Monday, March 12, at 10 am. There is a five ticket limit per family during the
first week of sales. Additional tickets may be purchased starting Monday, March 19, at 10 am. Tickets
may be purchased by calling 414-766-5049 or in person at the Box Office. Starting Monday, March 19,
tickets may also be purchased online at www.southmilwaukeepac.org.
The Box Office is open Monday through Friday, 10 am to 4 pm, as well as from 4 to 6 pm during
rehearsals and one hour prior to the performance as long as tickets are available.
The PAC is accessible to persons with disabilities. Please notify the Box Office when you are
purchasing tickets if special arrangements are required. It is recommended these tickets are purchased
within the first week of sales to ensure the best accommodations.
VOLUNTEERS
Volunteers will be on hand to ensure a fun and safe experience for everyone. They will help keep the
students organized and prepared for their performance time(s). If you need to speak to your child during
the rehearsal or pick him/her up early (if his/her rehearsal time is over), please do so in the music area,
which is located directly behind the PAC. Please be sure to inform a volunteer when you pick your
student up so we know who has left and who remains in our care.
Mothers are welcome to assist with supervising. Please be sure to bring items your child will enjoy
working on as he/she waits for his/her turn on stage.
