AN OVERVIEW<br />

Turn Signal Indicator :<br />

Turn signal indicators can be<br />

operated only when ignition is ‘ON’.<br />

They can be operated by using the<br />

turn indicator switch on the combiswitch.<br />

The direction indicator arrow<br />

(LHS) and (RHS) on the<br />

instrument cluster flashes along with<br />

external indicators lights as per<br />

selection.<br />

CAUTION<br />

If the turn signal indicators do not<br />

blink, then there may be problem<br />

in electrical system. If the<br />

indicators “Blink rapidly”, then this<br />

indicates that a side indicator bulb<br />

has failed. Get it rectified<br />

immediately.<br />

Front Fog Lamp<br />

Indicator (If equipped) :<br />

Front fog lamps are provided on the<br />

front bumper to improve the visibility<br />

in foggy weather. The front fog lamp<br />

switch is provided on combi switch.<br />

Rear Fog Lamp<br />

Indicator (If equipped)<br />

Rear fog lamp is provided on rear<br />

bumper to improve the visibility and<br />

warning in foggy weather or during<br />

heavy rains. The rear fog lamp switch<br />

is provided on combi-switch.<br />

NOTICE<br />

Use only during foggy condition if<br />

required.<br />

High Beam Indicator :<br />

INDICATORS<br />

The indicator light comes on when<br />

the High beam is selected or also<br />

when he headlight flasher is<br />

operated.<br />

<strong>Service</strong> Indicator (BS-III) :<br />

MIL Indicator (BS-IV)<br />

This lamp indicates your vehicle’s<br />

engine condition when a<br />

malfunctioning occurs in the engine,<br />

wiring harness, EMS, etc. this lamp<br />

indicates as below:<br />

1. Comes ‘ON’ when key is in ‘IGN’<br />

position and goes ‘OFF’ when<br />

engine is running.<br />

2. Remains “ON” while the engine<br />

is running if malfunctioning<br />

occurs.<br />

3. Starts ‘BLINKING’ if continous<br />

problem of malfunction is<br />

observed, contact nearest <strong>Tata</strong><br />

Authorised service outlet.<br />

Driving under this condition may<br />

lead to severe damage to the<br />

engine parts.<br />

CAUTION<br />

When “<strong>Service</strong> OR MIL” indicator<br />

is ON or blinking while the engine<br />

is running, the engine’s<br />

performance deteriorates<br />

marginally and sometimes<br />

drastically. Please get the<br />

malfunctioning rectified at a<br />

nearest authorized service center.
