SAFETY CHECKS & DRIVING SAFETY<br />
Horn<br />
Ensure the horn is working properly.<br />
Horn provides safety to other road<br />
users by alerting your presence.<br />
Brakes<br />
Ensure brakes are working properly.<br />
Check brake fluid level in reservoir.<br />
Do not drive the car when brake<br />
warning lamp is 'ON'.<br />
Tyres<br />
Check the condition of tyres for any<br />
abnormality. Maintain correct tyre<br />
pressure, it is very important<br />
particularly when subjected to<br />
extreme conditions, such as high<br />
speed, bad roads and high outside<br />
temperature. Do not use worn or bald<br />
tyres specially on the front wheels.<br />
First Aid Kit<br />
First aid kit is provided in your vehicle.<br />
This is for use in case of minor<br />
injuries. It is to be regularly checked<br />
for any disintegration and should be<br />
updated regularly.<br />
Documents<br />
Always carry vehicle registration<br />
papers, insurance, valid PUC<br />
certificate and driving licence with you.<br />

Seat Belt<br />
Seat-belts are life saving equipment,<br />
use of seat-belt reduces the chance<br />
of injury and severity of injury in case<br />
of an accident. It is strongly<br />
recommended that all the car<br />
occupants should always wear seatbelt,<br />
while vehicle is in motion.<br />
Influence of Alcohol<br />
Do not drive under the influences of<br />
alcohol or drugs. Alcohol and drugs<br />
will severely impair your control of the<br />
vehicle and increase the risk of injury<br />
yourself and others.<br />
Mobile phones<br />
Do not use mobile phones while<br />
driving a vehicle. This could divert<br />
your attention from the road and<br />
result in an accident.<br />
Fatigue 'Rest Revive survive'<br />
Do not attempt driving when you feel<br />
tired, sleepy. Long distance driving can<br />
tire you very much and fatigue can dull<br />
your reflexes and judgment. Take a rest<br />
and get refreshed at intervals.<br />
