In a sport such as freediving, receiving precise
information is crucial to the diver’s success.
This resonates deeply with freediver William
Trubridge who, in 2008, set two world records:
282 ft with a 3 min. 20 sec. dive time in
the Constant Weight without fins category,
Suunto Collection_2010
and an incredible 354 ft in 3 min. 21 sec. in
the Free Immersion discipline, breaking his
previous record set only 3 days earlier. William
uses a Suunto to track his depth, descension
rate and dive time. These feats would
not be possible without complete trust in his
equipment.
