In addition to patient care delivery organizations, two-thirds of partnerships <strong>in</strong>cluded a research<br />
organization <strong>in</strong> their project <strong>and</strong> three-fourths of the projects <strong>in</strong>cluded other organizations that do not<br />
deliver patient care, such as health <strong>IT</strong> vendors, health <strong>IT</strong> consult<strong>in</strong>g firms, <strong>and</strong> health departments<br />
(Figure 4.4; Appendix A, Table A.3).<br />
