Năm 1970, ông được cử sang họctại Liên Xô cũ môn kèn Cor và chỉ huy hợp xướngtại Nhạc viện Tchaikovsky. Năm 1976, ông đượcchọn vào lớp Chỉ huy dàn nhạc giao hưởng vàOpera của giáo sư Leo Ghinzburg, người từngđào tạo nên nhiều nhà chỉ huy danh tiếng của LiênXô và thế giới, sau đó là với GS. Kitaenko. Năm1982, ông tốt nghiệp Học viện âm nhạc Tchaikovskyvới điểm số xuất sắc. Ông đã chỉ huy nhiềubuổi biểu diễn với các nghệ sĩ nổi tiếng Đặng TháiSơn, Teko Maenashi (Nhật Bản), Ilinca Dumitrescu(Rumani), Philippe Dorn (Pháp).. Tháng 9/2002,Nguyễn Thiếu Hoa được mời sang Pusan (HànQuốc) chỉ huy chương trình chào mừng Á vậnhội XIV. Năm 2006, ông được mời làm giám đốcâm nhạc và chỉ huy dàn nhạc cho Liên hoan hợpxướng Besetoha. Hiện tại, Nguyễn Thiếu Hoa lànghệ sỹ danh dự của Việt Nam, trưởng khoa âmnhạc học, soạn nhạc và chỉ huy dàn nhạc tại Họcviện âm nhạc Hà Nội vừa là chỉ huy trưởng củadàn nhạc giao hưởng yêu nhạc Hà Nội. Và NguyễnThiếu Hoa được Hội nghệ sỹ Việt Nam trao tặngnhiều giải thưởngNguyen Thieu Hoa was born in a traditional Vietnamesemusic family. In his youth he attended anelementary course of music at the Hanoi NationalConservatory of Music with the age of 11 years.In 1970, he studied French horn and choir conductingat the Tchaikovsky Conservatory of Music inMoscow. In 1976, Nguyen Thieu Hoa was selectedto study conducting of symphony orchestra andopera with professor Leo Ginzburg, the mentorof many world famous conductors and later withprofessor Kitaenko.In 1982 he has graduated from the TchaikovskyConservatory of Music with excellent grades.Nguyen Thieu Hoa has performed with differentfamous artists: People‘ Artist Dang Thai Son (Vietnam),Teko Maehashi (Japan), Ilinka Dumitrescu(Romania), Philippe Dorn (France).In September 2002, he was invited to Pusan (Korea)as a conductor of the Opening Show of the14 th ASIAD Festival with Beethoven’s symphonyNo. 9.In 2006 he was active as music director and conductorfor the Choir Besetoha Festival.At present, Nguyen Thieu Hoa is Doctor of art,emeritus artist, a member of the executive committee,chairman of the Arts Council Music AssociationHanoi and Principal conductor of the HanoiPhilharmonic Orchestra.Nguyen Thieu Hoa was awarded many awards inthe field of composition by Vietnam Musicians Association,particularly the concerto written for vietnamesebamboo flute and symphony orchestra.
