Guarantee<br />
Yuasa batteries sold as replacement are guaranteed against premature failure due to manufacturing or<br />
material defects only. In the event of such a <strong>battery</strong> claim, the <strong>battery</strong> should be returned with proof of<br />
purchase to the original Yuasa Distributor for testing. Subject to testing by the Distributor the <strong>battery</strong> will<br />
be exchanged free of charge.<br />
• <strong>The</strong> distributor has the right to test and if necessary, charge the <strong>battery</strong> before agreeing to the claim<br />
• This does not affect the statutory rights of the customer in any way<br />
• <strong>The</strong> Guarantee is subject to the Terms and Condition of Sale of Yuasa Battery Sales (UK) Ltd<br />
• <strong>The</strong> Guarantee is valid only for the purchaser of the <strong>battery</strong>, and is not transferable<br />

Ambulances<br />
1 year against faulty workmanship or materials<br />
Police Cars<br />

• Original <strong>battery</strong>: From date of purchase<br />
• Free Replacement <strong>battery</strong>: From date of purchase of the<br />
original <strong>battery</strong><br />
This guarantee obligation excludes<br />
• Failure resulting from the wear and tear, misuse and<br />
negligence either before or during use. Examples are<br />
overcharging, deep cycling, sulphation and<br />
undercharging<br />
• Failure resulting from the use of any fluids other than<br />
distilled or deionised water, or from any action not<br />
recommended for Yuasa Batteries<br />
• Use of a <strong>battery</strong> type on a vehicle for which it is nor<br />
recommended, or on which it has been installed and<br />
commissioned incorrectly<br />
• No guarantee claim will be actioned without a dated proof<br />
of purchase<br />
