Mr. Sedlacek is a Czech economist and university lecturer. He is the Chief Macroeconomic Strategist at Czechoslovak Trade Bank, a former member of the<br />

National Economic Council of the Czech Republic and an economic advisor to former President Václav Havel. In 2006, the Yale Economic Review mentioned<br />

him in an article titled “Young Guns: 5 Hot Minds in Economics“. His book “Economics of Good and Evil“, a bestseller in the Czech Republic, was translated<br />

into English and published by the Oxford University Press in June, 2011.<br />

Freddie Geier<br />

Former Head of Apple Germany<br />

As a long time Apple employee, Mr. Geier has got the digital lifestyle in his blood. He was in the circle of the 100 employees with whom Steve Jobs would have<br />

wanted to establish a new company. After his stint as chief executive for the software company Elgato, he became CEO of Apple Germany in 2005.<br />

Mr. von der Horst is managing director and Europe lead for the Cisco Internet <strong>Business</strong> Solutions Group (IBSG). In this capacity, he leads the activities of IBSG<br />

for all European geographies. Mr. von der Horst joined IBSG as one of the founding members of the team in Europe. In addition to his management responsibilities,<br />

he works for customers in the financial services and manufacturing sectors. Customers covered include Allianz AG, Lufthansa, and BMW. Within Cisco,<br />

years of international experience as management consultant. With deep knowledge of the business processes and different market roles, he has conducted<br />

many transformations in the utilities industry.<br />

Where is Budapest?<br />

• Budapest, the capital city of Hungary is in Central-Eastern Europe,<br />

not far from Vienna or Bratislava. Budapest is centrally located in<br />

Hungary, right on the river Danube, which cuts the city into two<br />

parts: Buda and Pest, adding up to ‘Budapest’.<br />

What is the currency in Hungary?<br />

• It is the Hungarian Forint (HUF or Ft). Euro currency is accepted<br />

at several places though, but your safest bet would be to find an<br />

currency exchange office to change some of your currency into<br />

Hungarian Forints. <strong>The</strong> conversion rate is 277HUF ~ 1 Euro.<br />
