OPERATION
The exposed offset plates are
introduced manually into the
bending machine where they
are positioned according to 3
register pins. Pressing the start
button activates the work process
of the bender, the following
steps are carried out automatically.
Register pins position the
printing plate in the pre-punched
register holes. A vacuum
lets the offset plate lie flat on the
machine table. Holding-down
devices fix the printing plate
before bending. The bending
process is carried out at both
plate edges simultaneously
using the plate-protecting foldbending-technique.
After bending,
the bending unit moves to
the middle of the machine to
facilitate manual removal of the
printing plates.
