Pyxis MedStation
system
The Pyxis MedStation system provides reporting tools that
contribute to the efficient use of the system. With each
transaction, critical data is collected and captured in reports
for user review and action. Detailed data is available at the
Pyxis MedStation system for up to 32 hours after a transaction
takes place, and for 31 days at the Pyxis MedStation console.
Continuous review of the information contained within the reports
is essential to maximize the safety and security of the system.
CareFusion recommends the following reports for routine review and use. Additional reports are also available at the station to be
reviewed and used on an as-needed basis. Please refer to your Pyxis MedStation system User Guide for additional reporting tools
that may help you optimize medication safety and departmental efficiency.

medications are administered
(e.g., 6-7 patients, pain meds
q3-4 hours) to verify MAR
documentation.
