Thermal sensor
As standard, the motors are equipped with a thermal sensor in the stator winding. The data is evaluated in the motor
controller. Additional PTCs or thermal sensors can be fitted on request. They are connected through the terminal box.

The motor temperature is continuously monitored using the thermal sensor type KTY 84-130.
The above shown resistance results when the sensor is supplied with a measuring current of 2 mA.

- Tmin for the coolant ≥ TAmbient (but max. coolant temperature of 35°C)
- Depending on the relative humidity, the coolant temperature may be
lower than the ambient temperature. The permissible coolant
temperature (see diagram) depends on the relative humidity
(during operation) and the ambient temperature.
Values of 15% to 85% relative atmospheric humidity (non-condensing) are permissible.
For example, ambient temperature 25°C → relative humidity 65%
→ coolant input temperature ≥ 21°C (see diagram).
