Naturally gifted with an eye for all
things alluring, Cecelia never
received formal training in
interior design but rather drew
inspiration and experience from
each project and the things in life she was
passionate about. Self-educated, Cronk relies
on her intellect as well as her God-given ability
to create and design for her craft.
I truly enjoy all of the work that I have
completed locally. However, giving back to the
community is close to my heart. My greatest
influence was my late mother. She taught me
to share my talents and to give back to others
less fortunate. In my heart, I wanted to do a
special charitable community project every
year. My first such project was Humanity
Design 2010. Our design team decided that
designing the Bolton Refuge Shelter was a
timely and worthy cause in our community. The
Bolton Refuge Shelter is a refuge for battered
and abused women and children.
In doing the shelter, my desire was
to give it a design comparable to a boutique
hotel. It was most rewarding to provide a
space for women and children who may have
been living in less than desirable situations to a
beautiful place of refuge.
For Humanity Design 2011, we have
selected a well-deserving senior citizen in our
community. We are redesigning her bedroom
into a Hollywood Regency design.”
Cecelia’s creativity isn’t limited to
interior design. She is also a celebrated
photographer. Her passions routinely fuse with
one another.
