Our community of Dom<strong>in</strong>ican<br />
sisters at the monastery of Kirchberg<br />
is open for those look<strong>in</strong>g for<br />
peace and recreation as well as spiritual<br />
encounters with God. We provide a calm<br />
everyday rhythm, regular pray<strong>in</strong>g t<strong>im</strong>es as<br />
well as a contemplative, green environment.<br />
Groups wish<strong>in</strong>g to meditate and use <strong>our</strong><br />
facilities for retreats <strong>are</strong> most welcome.<br />
If you <strong>are</strong> <strong>in</strong>te<strong>rest</strong>ed <strong>in</strong> experienc<strong>in</strong>g life<br />
at <strong>our</strong> abbey, please come and jo<strong>in</strong> us <strong>in</strong> <strong>our</strong><br />

Kirchberg monastery can look back on<br />
a history of more than 800 years. Only ten<br />
years ago, after a complete overhaul, the<br />
Dom<strong>in</strong>ican sisters decided to open it for<br />
visitors, <strong>in</strong>clud<strong>in</strong>g a guesthouse. The<br />
monastery is located about an h<strong>our</strong> from<br />
Vienna and easily accessible by public<br />
transport.<br />
