Kick Up Your Heels & Join the Fiesta at
This Year’s Elementary Carnival!
Join us on Friday, May 6th, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. as the Buffs in Action Group (BIA) will host its 3rd Annual
Elementary Carnival. The carnival will take place in the commons area of the new school, the elementary gym and
the east parking lot (*please note that parking will be on the west side of the building). Gibbon Elementary School’s
students, families and community members are invited to take part in this event that will include:
• Over 30 game booths for children to play
• DNA kits provided by the Buffalo County Sheriff’s Department
• Door Prizes
• Rowe Sanctuary
• Bingo for Books with the Gibbon Public Library
• Blue Moon Picture Booth
• Trails and Rails Museum
• …and much more
In addition, food items will be available for a nominal fee. Local Latino restaurants will be sharing their cultural
foods. The Donut Man will be there with his delicious bites. Cheryl Escritt will once again tempt our taste buds with
cotton candy and the Buffs in Action Group will host a food stand with various items.
All monies raised during the Carnival will be used for future student based activities.
