as well as the incalculable risks
incurred during irradiation of the
product, the market will not yet
fully accept X-Ray technology.
Should the market nevertheless
prefer X-Ray technology and
demand its use, then Mesutronic
will act accordingly and develop
its own version of the equipment.
How does Mesutronic

What are the technological goals
of Mesutronic for the future?
Mesutronic dovetails its product
development very closely in with
the needs of its customers and
the realistic technical possibilities
available at the time, both on the
electronic and the mechanical
side. Aluscan, for example, is the
result of a strong demand for
detection systems for aluminiumpacked
products. Research and
development traditionally enjoy a
high position at Mesutronic.
Approximately 10% of our turnover
is invested in it. The goal is to
further optimise metal detection
technology in terms of operational
safety, detection accuracy and
automation. ‘More sensible, safe
and user friendly,’ as the motto
goes. To that end, a significant
role is being played in terms of the
rapid development of digital
technology. Ever faster calculating
power, almost limitless memory
capacity, electronic assembly and
an unprecedented output capacity
will enable the automation of
futuristic solutions that were
unimaginable before. Costeffective,
intelligent tooling
concepts have always been a
challenge for Mesutronic, and this
challenge will launch us into the
future in the service of our
