For the 6th time the PETnology Team is pleased to
announce their International Conference for the PET
Industry and invites all market participants to inform
themselves about new strategies and innovations in
all parts of the PET packaging market.
The PETnology Forum Europe is from PET experts for
PET experts. It is the ideal platform to listen to more
then 50 experts from across the PET and packaging
industry and to gather detailed information in 8
sessions and 8 workshops about current topics. You
will have ample opportunity to learn more about and
to discuss technical and technological developments,
innovations and breakthrough technologies to make
the PET packaging business even more successful.
PET Challenges: New markets, new products,
increasing competition
The competition pressure for packaging and
machinery producers is rising continuously. The
resulting innovations enable companies to meet
tomorrow’s market needs and to enter new markets.
Today, PET containers are more and more successful
in the fields of fruit juices, beer, milk and cosmetic
products. On the other hand: will PP enter into
competition with PET?
Sessions and workshops
The organisation concept has proved to be of success:
subject and topic-related events will be offered in
plenary sessions. Speakers from leading companies
across the industry will make their presentations. The
workshops, which will be interactive in character, will
be further important items on the agenda. In small
groups specialist topics will be discussed with highly
qualified experts.
Simultaneous translation
Due to the great demand from participants of
previous conferences there will be simultaneous
translation of all session presentations and lectures
from German into English, and from English into
German.
Exhibition
The conference schedule and organisation will give all
participants ample opportunity to communicate and to
establish and foster contacts. Individual companies
will give their own product presentations alongside
the conference, which will also provide an opportunity
for detailed and informative talks.

Product decoration with no limits......
...is what Pago will be presenting at the Interpack
exhibition in Hall 12, E12/F11. The labels and labelling
systems provider has extended its range with rollfed
and sleeve labels. Now Pago’s expertise in product
decoration of the highest quality is available in this
format too. Thus the high printing and finishing quality
this company provides can now be applied to produce
perfect decoration of aerosols with convex surfaces
and products with unusual or extreme shapes.
Furthermore, Pago will also be exhibiting the
corresponding labelling
machines, the Pago System 710 and Pagosleeve,
which offer fast and accurate application of product
labels.
Other new products that will be exhibited on the stand
include an inline tube labelling system and a new
series of compact labelling machines for remarkably
economic execution of standard labelling tasks.
The Pagomat 6/2 opens up new dimensions for
technicians: this integrated labelling machine is
equipped with a compact control module designed for
installation in an electrical cabinet and an external
operating unit that can be located wherever desired.
A future-oriented approach also has been adopted
in the field of product identification with RFID
labelling (HF 13.56 MHz or UHF 868 MHz) and
Pagomobil, the mobile printing system with
WLAN data exchange.
