of pine forest, 21 miles west of Linares, Galena Road, Nuevo Leon.
Vine fruitful; vigorous shoot tips bearing red-black, glandular hairs
with green tips; berries to 0.375 inch diameter, just ripening.
293134. Col. No. 36. On rocks and trees in canyon, near top of pass,
21 miles west of Linares, Galena Road, Nuevo Leon. Plant fruitful;
glabrous leaves; fruit green.
293135. Col. No. 59. On tree in moist area, 2 miles north of Montemorelos,
Nuevo Leon. Vine with few fruits; leaves with marginal
teeth. Seed collected.

293141. Col. No. 37. Oasis about 2 miles southwest of Ojo de Agua,
Coahuila. Vines abundant, vigorous, healthy; leaves 4 by 5 inches,
slightly lobed, dark green above, tomentose beneath; fruit clusters
cylindrical, 3 by 1.5 inches, well filled, abundant; berries 0.375 inch,
meaty, not acid.
293142. Col. No. 42. Limestone soil, along pecan grove, south of San
Lorenzo, Coahuila. Male vine, forming large canopy over tree.

Coahuila. Vine fruitful; shoots white, tomentose, dark red when exposed;
leaves 5.5 by 5 inches; fruit clusters 3 by 1.5 inches; berries
already eaten by birds.

Monterrey, Nuevo Leon. Vines abundant; foliage not clean; leaves
skeletonized, subject to mildew; fruit half ripe.

293146. Col. No. 25, Oak forest in canyon, 1 mile above Las Abritas,
12.5 miles west of Naranjo. Vine forming canopy over trees to 50 feet
high; trunk slender; shoots coppery red; leaves glabrous; fruit clusters
to 14 berries, held above leaves on ripening; berries brownish, to 0.5
inch diameter.
