Dispensing Legend Drugs

DEA: Biennial Inventory
In addition to an initial inventory, yyou must make a
biennial inventory of all controlled substances on
hand. The inventory must be made every 2 years
from initial registration and opening inventory.
The following information should be included:
1. Name, address, and registration number of each
registrant.
2. Name, unit size, and total quantity of each controlled
substance.
3. Date and time of inventory.
4. Signature of person(s) making the inventory
5. Separate records for Schedule II drugs.
6. And new controlled drugs introduced must be put on
inventory list with quantity and date.
