Kingsgrove R.S.L. Club Ltd Election & Voting Day, 2012
Ballots will be conducted at the Club premises on: SATURDAY
MARCH 24TH 2012 from 10am to 8pm.
The names of all candidates are listed on the Ballot Paper as was
determined by lot, drawn in the Auditorium at 6.00pm on February
14th 2012, in the presence of members who choose to be present.
The Returning Officer may, in her absolute discretion, upon receipt of
a written application (to be made not less than three (3) days before
the Ballot is to be conducted) from a financial member stating that by
reason of illness, employment or any reasonable cause, he or she will
be unable to attend the Clubhouse on the day set down, issue a Ballot
Paper to such Member in respect of each Ballot being conducted.
Postal Votes will close on March 22nd 2012.

RIGHT TO VOTE AND HOLD OFFICE:
Full Members having been a member for a minimum continuous
period of 3 years are entitled to hold office as the President, Senior
Vice President, Vice President and Director of the Club.
N.B. TWO FULL CLUB MEMBERS who have been financial for a
continuous period of three (3) years must nominate all candidates for election.
ELIGIBILITY TO VOTE: The only members entitled to vote on
the election of the Board are Financial Full Club Members and Life
Members who have been members of the Club for a continuous
period of two (2) years or more at the date of the relevant Board
election and produce a Year 2012 Club Card to the Returning Officer
or Assistant Returning Officer.
Immediately the result of the Ballot is known, the Returning Officer
shall “Declare the Poll” by causing such result to be displayed in the
Club’s foyer.

Article 66 states:
“That a detailed resume of not more than 50 words be provided by each
applicant for all positions; and these details be distributed to Members entitled
to vote prior to each Annual Election”.
Neil L. Arena
Club member 33 years, 4 years service as
Director, Sub Branch Senior Vice President,
Justice of the Peace. I would again appreciate
the opportunity to use my senior management,
administrative and marketing experience to
contribute towards the operating efficiency and
profitability of the Club for the benefit of all
members.
Isabella K. Bennett
Member for 27 years, Treasurer Darts Club
5 years, member of Indoor Bowls Club,
Women’s Auxiliary and Community Group.
I believe assisting in the operation of small
businesses and working in accounts of an
international company will add value to the
Board on behalf of the members.
Bruce L. Geerin
I have been a Club member for 41 years, Club
Director 9 years, member of most in-house
sporting bodies, my wife Jeannine is a current
member of the Women’s Auxiliary. If reelected
I will do my utmost to help the Club,
it’s members and it’s guests.
John Graham
Currently Director and Honorary Secretary of
the Sub Branch, 14 year Club member. Along
with fellow Directors I have contributed to the
significant financial development of the Club
during the past 3 years and have plans for this
work to continue in 2012-13 for the long term
benefits of members.
Robert Hollingsworth
I have run my own business for 45 years
and now a self funded retiree. I have been
a member for many years and am on the
Sub Branch, also a member of the Darts
and Snooker Clubs. If elected I could be of
assistance to the Board and members.
John P. Mahony
Current Board member, Club member for
20 years. Seeking re-election to continue
further improvements of Club facilities for
our members and to represent my fellow
member’s interests.
Heather Shepherd
As a current Director I would appreciate the
opportunity to continue my contribution to this
great Club by adding a balanced representation of
all members. My business and social credentials,
which include marketing and administration, I
believe assists in adding value to the Board thus
ensuring the Club’s future success.
