GENERALS SWIMMING<br />
KELLI AUSTIN, ASSISTANT COACH<br />
Kelli Austin is in her first season as an assistant<br />
coach for both the men's <strong>and</strong> women's<br />
swimming teams.<br />
A 2003 <strong>Washington</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Lee</strong> graduate<br />
with a degree in sociology <strong>and</strong> anthropology,<br />
Austin returns to the Generals after serving as<br />
the assistant director of development at the La<br />
Lumiere School in LaPorte, Ind., since July.<br />
Previously, she had been the assistant director<br />
of admissions <strong>and</strong> head swimming coach at St.<br />
Margaret's School in Tappahannock, Va.<br />
Austin was a four-year letterwinner for the<br />
Generals, serving as a team captain during<br />
her senior campaign. A four-time First Team<br />
All-ODAC honoree, she was part of the 800-free<br />
relay team that set a school record during the<br />
2003 season. Austin also served as a work study in the athletic department during her<br />
four years in Lexington.<br />
