Sir,
Sealed Tender (WAX SEAL) are invited by the General Manager, India Government Mint, Mumbai on behalf of the
Chairman and Managing Director, Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Ltd., New Delhi, for supply of
below material as per description.

Hydra crane to be provided with Operator having proper Driving license.
The operator should be experienced who can handle loading and unloading
of material efficiently, which may otherwise cause delay in material
handling within stipulated period.
Diesel required for the operation has to be beared by the transporter.
Party has to quote per day-visit charges.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1 Tender will be accepted in sealed covers only on or before 27.04.2012
upto 2.00 pm.
2. The Tender will be opened at 3.00 P.M. on the same day.
3. Service Tax , if any should be mentioned separately.
4. Hiring Work to be carried out on in I.G.Mint, Mumbai.
5. Quotation should be valid for 90 days from the date of opening.
6 . If contract work is not completed on time, Mint reserve the right to
carry out the incomplete work from any alternate source at the risk and
cost of the supplier.
7. ANNUAL CONTRACT to provide hiring Hydra Cranes services in I.G.Mint,
Mumbai Factory. Crane of 12 Ton capacity. PLEASE QUOTE PER CRANE PER
DAY BASIS.
No. of Visits : 07 visits per month (maximum).
CONTRACT PERIOD : For a period of one year, which will be specified
in L.O.I., for the year 2012 to 2013.
8. Payment : The bills will be submitted on monthly basis by the
Transport agency. The payment will be made within 15 days from the date
of receipt of the bill.
9. Please mention your VAT Registered No. in your Qtn. Invariably VAT
Registration Certificate to be attached along with Quotation. Failing
which your quotation will not be considered.
10. Any dispute arising out of or relating to this inquiry shall be
deemed to have arised in Mumbai and is subject to jurisdiction of the
Mumbai Courts.
11. Correct Tender no. and opening date should be super scribed on the
sealed envelopes. Failing which your quotation will not be considered.
12. Liquidated damages :- If the ordered work/supply is not completed to
the entire satisfaction of India Govt. Mint, within the stipulated
period, the firm is bound to pay a sum calculated @ 0.5% per week or
part thereof and subject to maximum of 10% of undelivered goods or
incomplete order.
13. E.M.D. : To pay Rs.4,000/- in the form of DD or pay order drawn in
favour of INDIA GOVERNMENT MINT (UNIT OF SPMCIL) COLLECTION A/C. to be
furnish alongwith the quotation failing which the tender will not be
considered.
14. Performance Security : Performance Security @ 10% of the total cost
of the contract as fixed by the General Manager, I.G.Mint, Mumbai, by
D.D./P.O./Bank Guarantee will have to be paid by the successful bidder
within 21 days of issue of L.O.I. order . The Bank Guarantee should
remain valid for a period of 60 days beyond the date of completion of
all contractual obligations of the contractor, including warranty
obligations. Performance Security will be refunded to the contractor
without any interest, whatsoever, after it duly performs and completes
the contract in all respect but not later than 60 days of completion of
all such obligations under the contract. In the event of non payment of
S.D. by the successful bidder, amount of E.M.D. will be forfeited.
15. For the purpose of e payment kindly ensure to submit the following
information of your Bank details alongwith Quotation : I. Applicant

alongwith Address and Branch Code. III. Account Type : IFSC Code, MICR
Code, Email I.D. and Mobile Number of the beneficiary.
16. The G.M., India Government Mint, Mumbai, For and on behalf of the
CMD, SPMCIL, reserves the right to accept in part or in full any tender
or reject any tender without assigning any reason or to cancel the
tendering process and reject all tenders at anytime prior to award of
Contract, without incurring any liability, whatsoever to the affected
tenderer or tenderers.
17. The tenderers who are currently registered and also will continue to
remain registered during the tender validity period with DGSand D or
with NSIC, New Delhi, are exempted for payment of earnest money. In case
the tenderer falls in these catagories, it should furnish certificate
copy of its valid registration details (with DGS and D or NSIC, as the
case may be). However, the Security Deposit / Performance Deposit will
be applicable.
18. Vendor has to adhere to rules and regulations and timings of
I.G.Mint, Mumbai, which is being a security sensitive organization.
19. I.G.Mint, Mumbai, is not responsible for any injury / accident
caused to contractor or any person appointed by him to carry out the job
/ project.
20. Transporter will provide vehicle on phone call.
21. Transporter shall ensure that the signature of the user on each and
every occasion will be obtained on the duty-slip.
22. Cranes to be operated within Mint Area, during normal working hours
and forklift should be provided with operator having proper driving
license.(The operator should be experienced, who can handle loading and
unloading of material efficiently, which may otherwise cause delay in
material handling within stipulated period).
23. Quotation to be submitted in Indian Rupees (INR) only.
24. Diesel required for the operation has to be borne by the
transporter.
25. Bidder or his duly authorised representative (with authorisation
letter) can attend the tender opening if they wish to do so.
