Fig 6.9 shows you a profile view of the anchoring, and<br />
windlass system. This illustration shows the smaller and<br />
the larger anchor well, in relation to the location.<br />

Anchoring in unusual water, and or weather conditions<br />
will require additional precautions. Consult an<br />
approved guide for suggestions.<br />
Though we cannot cover every problem you might<br />
encounter in boating, we hope to assist you in the<br />
basic operation and maintenance of the components<br />
aboard, or installed on your boat.<br />
As difficult as it would be to also cover every option<br />
or component installed we hope we have covered the<br />
basic essentials you will need in order to have many a<br />
safe and comfortable outings in your new boat. As in all<br />
cases always consult your OEM manuals in all cases of<br />
review of the documentation of the components aboard<br />
or installed on your boat. If the manuals are not available<br />
in your owner’s packet, contact <strong>Hunter</strong> Marine, or your<br />
dealer. It is the ultimate in importance that you understand<br />
all you should about the equipment on your boat.<br />
Here we give you a short guide concerning the troubleshooting<br />
of the equipment that fall in the underwater<br />
gear section of your boat. Read this guide, and use it in<br />
trying to discover the root of any issues that might arise.<br />
Remember: OEM manuals take precedence over any<br />
information you may find in the <strong>Hunter</strong> Owner’s or<br />
Operator’s <strong>Manual</strong>s.<br />
