In this situation as well a clear difference in attitude between larger and smaller companies can
be seen. Among smaller companies experiences from Sweden are valued as highly as international
experiences, whereas among larger companies international experiences are valued significantly
higher. Authorities are ambivalent on this issue, which shows in the large proportion of “Makes
no difference”-replies.
When it comes to a choice between studies abroad or work practice/work experience abroad the
result is clear: work practice/work experience is valued higher in both private and public sector:

Among both companies and authorities a Swedish degree with studies or work practice abroad in
addition is preferred. There is however a significant discrepancy among companies; smaller companies
to a much larger extent prefer a solely Swedish degree.
