Community<br />
Good Mourning Benches<br />
Art from the Good Mourning Camp took<br />
on another life as an exhibit at the School of<br />
the Art Institute of Chicago for “The Art of<br />
Connection.” The show was an exhibition of art<br />
created through Art Therapy internships <strong>and</strong><br />
featured a few of the “Empty Benches” made by<br />
Good Mourning Campers in remembrance of<br />
loved ones whom they had lost.<br />
Rock Stars<br />
Nothing beats beating the odds. For one <strong>Rainbow</strong><br />
<strong>Hospice</strong> patient who came to the Ark in a coma<br />
from terminal kidney cancer, his <strong>Rainbow</strong> story<br />
ended with him walking on stage for his own<br />
Rock Concert. His b<strong>and</strong>, Mock Five, helped raise<br />
money for his five-year-old son <strong>and</strong> afterwards,<br />
both of them went home.<br />
