CHAMPIONSHIP
TICKET INFORMATION
After a huge Success in 2007, the Safeway Championship is
returning to Dauphin. The Championship brings 32 of
Manitoba’s best Men’s curling teams to the Parkland. The
winner will go on to represent Manitoba at the Brier.
To host this Provincial Championship, the Dauphin
Community Curling club, the Dauphin Recreation Services
and Dauphin’s Countryfest have entered into a joint venture
showcasing Credit Union Place, Dauphin and the Parkland to
our Manitoba Curlers and fans. Additionally, a significant
percentage of our profit from the event will go to the Dauphin
and District Community Foundation to fund various causes
for many years to come.
During the past few years, a number of community events
have depended on local sponsorship and financial support to
be successful. The organizing committee has made a
conscious decision to host this event without approaching the
business and private sector for direct financial support.
Our mandate is to sell as many tickets as possible to ensure
the success of this event.
