Tuesday, October 9<br />
9:00 am - 3:00 pm Tour #1 - Davis-Monthan AFB / AMARG / Pima Air & Space Museum<br />
Visit the base opened in 1940 and used to train crews for B-18s, B-24s, and B-29<br />
Super Fortress bombers. At the end of the war the base usage came to a standstill<br />
until 1946 when SAC bombardment groups came into being. After WWII, a storage<br />
facility was established and currently more than 5,200 aircraft from all branches of<br />
the services are stored there in a climate ideal for the maintenance of the aircraft.<br />
You will explore aviation history at the museum - home of the largest privately<br />
owned collection of historical aircraft in the country.<br />

Wednesday, October 10<br />
8:00 am - 5:00 pm Tour #2 - Tombstone<br />
Travel to Tombstone for a trip back in time. This is a living museum that allows a<br />
window to a turbulent wild west past. The heritage is well preserved in the original<br />
1880 buildings and artifacts. During the 1880’s Tombstone was the fastest growing<br />
city between St. Louis and San Francisco. Relive such dramatic events as O.K.<br />
Corral and the Crystal Palace Saloon.<br />

Thursday, October 11<br />
9:00 am - 12:00 pm Tour #3 - Downtown Historic Tour<br />
Discover the origins of Tucson as established in the mid-1500’s including the Barrio<br />
Historico, El Tiradito Shrine, El Presidio Neighborhood and other historical<br />
locations. Also visit Old Town Artisans and 215-year-old Mission Xavier del Bac<br />
which is still used for daily mass by Native Americans.<br />
