Wayne Tate, stroke coordinator for Largo Medical Center, will speak at coffee hour
this morning to inform us on how to recognize a stroke and what to do. Early
medical intervention can limit the severity of a stroke. Come learn what to do.
Super Bowl - Sunday, Feb. 7, 2010 - 12:00 Noon

Commencing at 12:00 noon (except those who will
be playing shuffleboard), we will be running our
Superbowl games day. The activities will consist
of Shuffleboard, Putting, Euchre, Cribbage, Dominoes and
Pool tournaments. The afternoon will end with 5 games of
bingo followed by a meal of chili, hot dogs and cold meats.
Beverages and snacks will be available to all during the day
with prize money for all tournament winners and runner-ups.
The actual football game will begin at 6:30 p.m. All of these
activities will cost members $5.00. Tickets will be available
through Jean Parisotto, John Fowler, or Ian Denholm.
Hope to see as many as possible February 7. Get your
tickets early as it usually sells out quickly.
Valentine’s Dance - Sunday, Feb. 14, 2010 - 8:00 - 11:00 p.m.

Come and join us for an evening of music and dancing. Our theme this year is the
1950’s. Remember Elvis, Fats Domino, The Platters, Frankie Avalon, Paul Anka,
Fabian, the Jive and Dick Clark’s American Bandstand? Everything was groovy.
We will be dancing to DJ Doug Wilson and a good time should be had by all.
Door prizes and a sweet table will be served. Tickets sales will be announced later.
