GRINDLEFORD : 13 JUNE 1991
A wet June makes the finish of the Grindleford race
particularly exciting! The scramble out from a full crossng of the
River Derwent into the finish field included some desperate and
bedraggled attempts. A large field this year but some good Dark
Peak packing with seven in the first twenty (including a
rejuvenated editor enjoying some injury free running).
