Over 300 runners for a village fell race was almost too much
for the organisation and course to cope with. Delays were
inevitable; first to register all the runners, then to get them
back along the road to the start and finally to get through the
narrow gaps at the end of the village and on the climb. For all
that it remains an excellent race with a steep climb, fast descent
and gently climbing last 600m to find out who some energy left.
