Then there are many who take on the task of organising the less formal races. We owe<br />
these people our support and co-operation when it comes to obeying rules or just<br />
paying up if there is a cost involved. In one recent event the organiser had so much<br />
trouble getting the money out of some that he says he won't do it again. Enough said.<br />
This year we say goodbye to Jeff as treasurer after many years of service so we hope<br />
he can still afford to come along and run. Subject to the AGM we have a proposal for a<br />
replacement that 1 hope will be welcomed by all.<br />
I don't think we have made much progress in organising ourselves when it comes to<br />
our diary so we may have some discussion of this later.<br />
