Fashion house Hermès is another legend of Paris. It has surpassed the
Baccarat itself when French perfumers Maurice Roucel and Bernard
Bourjois created the fragrance 24 Faubourg. Sold for €1700 per 30
ml bottle, the perfume is rated as the 2nd world’s most expensive. It
is a limited edition fragrance produced only in 1000 bottles a year.
Of course, the perfume is only a prelude to the arsenal of Hermès,
the manufacturer of probably the most expensive handbags in the
world, located in the 1st arrondissement of Paris, 24 Rue du Faubourg

Saint-Honoré. Founded in 1837, the fashion house employed such
fashion icons as Eric Bergère, Martin Margiela, Jean-Paul Gaultier,
Christophe Lemaire (current creative director of Hermès) and still has
every piece made by hand. That is why their works of art are so darn
expensive. Few months ago, for instance, Lady Gaga has bought the
famous Hermès Birkin handbag for £49,000…
